The calendar declares Spring is nearly dead – but Spring isn’t ready to leave the stage. Beginning this weekend, local choirs, chorales, choristers and choir directors, and ensembles tied to them, will sing eleven times before June gives way to July, nine times before Father’s Day and the summer solstice, six times just this weekend. The events of the first list of concerts and shows below share the fact that, besides all being within the local area, one or more members of the two chorales will sing at each performance on that list. The second list is of concerts farther away, each tied as well to a local choral director, teacher or choral singer.
