May can sing both high and low

With a touch of the bard we begin, singing:

O mistress mine, where are you roaming?
O, stay and hear; your true love’s coming,
That can sing both high and low.
Trip no further, pretty sweeting;
Journeys end in lovers meeting,
Every wise man’s son doth know.

We began three days with William Shakespeare and music yesterday afternoon, with the Claremont Chamber Choir in a Friday’s at Noon concert. Day two, tonight in Rancho Cucamonga, Chaffey College also celebrates the Bard in the first of two performances of the same program. Tomorrow afternoon, the Chaffey College choirs return with the third concert in three days about Shakespeare, in tribute of the 400th year since his passing. This evening (Saturday), however the third college in action offers us Birds and Bees – no word if Shakespeare figures in tonight’s performance.
